Samir is the CEO and co-founder of SunCulture, Africa’s largest solar irrigation company. SunCulture helps smallholder farmers grow more food and earn more through solar irrigation, embedded financing, carbon markets, and bundled services. The company was named a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer and one of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies. Samir has served on the Kenya Revenue Authority board, delivered a TED Talk, and was named to the TIME100 Climate list and as a Bloomberg New Economy Catalyst.
