Mr. Berendes is co-founder of operator-led investment platform Elipic Partners. He formerly was an Executive Partner at Flagship Pioneering and board chairman of Indigo Ag and CiBO and board member of Inari and Invaio. Before, he worked with Syngenta as a member of the global executive committee. Mr. Berendes joined Syngenta from McKinsey & Company, where he was a partner. He started his professional career at Procter & Gamble.
He has a PhD in Biophysics and a Diploma in Chemistry.
