Krystyna Springer leads IEEP's work on land use and climate policy, covering the market-based and regulatory instruments designed to drive climate mitigation in agriculture and forestry, and whether they deliver in practice. Her current focus spans carbon farming, corporate demand for removals and on-farm mitigation, and how value is distributed along agri-food value chains. She previously worked on Paris alignment and MRV for agribusiness lending at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
