Jurgen Tack has served as Secretary General and CEO of the European Landowners’ Organization since June 2023. With a background in marine ecology and a PhD in Sciences, he has held leadership roles across science, biodiversity policy and land management, including at ELO, Landelijk Vlaanderen and Aanspreekpunt Privaat Beheer Natuur en Bos. He has also contributed to European and international expert bodies on nature-based solutions, river management and conservation.
