Jacqueline Heard
CEO,
ENKO
Jacqueline leads Enko in its work to revolutionize and transform the crop protection industry by solving for a key challenge: developing novel chemistries that increase farm productivity, while decreasing the adverse health impacts and environmental contamination that exist today. Using a proprietary AI and machine learning-driven platform (ENKOMPASS™), Enko designs and actualizes new chemistries with differentiated safety and efficacy profiles in 75% less time and with 90% lower cost than traditional R&D. Prior to Enko, Jacqueline served as CEO at the Two Blades Foundation, at CiBO Technologies, Mendel Biotechnology, and led global R&D and investments at Monsanto, Flagship Pioneering. She has also forged new open innovation structures for the industry by creating new companies using capital efficient, semi-virtual models. Jacqueline earned a Ph.D. in Biology from Boston College and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. She has over 100 peer reviewed publications and issued patents.
