Dr Cian Duggan is a plant scientist and innovator working to make the world's crops more resistant to disease. As CEO and Co-Founder of Resurrect Bio, he harnesses functional genomics and AI to protect global food security and reduce agriculture's reliance on chemical pesticides. A Trinity and Imperial-trained geneticist with a PhD in Plant Molecular Immunology, he won the 2021 Innovate UK Young Innovators Award, spun Resurrect Bio out of The Sainsbury Laboratory Norwich, and led its $10M+ Series A.
