Boris co-founded GreenPods in 2020. GreenPods is a fully integrated regenerative agriculture farm developer, servicing the growing demand for fully traceable plant-based products.

Their first farm La Granja, in Toulouse, is France’s largest regen organic almond orchard to have the Label Bas Carbone, with an estimated 4575 tons of CO2 emission reductions for the next 20 years. The company is now scaling to 1000Ha in Spain.

Prior to this he has worked at the intersection of commodities, rural development and public-private partnerships.

Boris first joined leading commodity merchant ECOM Agroindustrial, spending three years in Tajikistan sourcing cotton from smallholder producers. He then relocated to Chiapas, Mexico, to work on the launch of a soluble coffee plant, before opening the group’s cocoa office in Moscow, Russia.

From 2016 to 2021 he worked in Paris for Mirova, an impact investing firm, as the Investment Director of the UNCCD-backed Land Degradation Neutrality Fund (AUM 210M$). Boris oversaw the origination, assessment and financing of high impact projects involving perennial crops such as hazelnuts, coffee, cocoa.

Boris graduated with a Master’s degree from ESCP and holds an Exec MBA from INSEAD.
